Built by a swim parent

My name is Tim Hankins and I started SwimTrack for other swim parents and their competitive swimmers.

My son is a swimmer and when he started to find success in the pool I began keeping track of his best times. I would load up the swimming committee's time standards page at every meet to see what time cuts he was closest to. I thought there had to be a better way to track all of his times and compare them against the time standards so I got to Googling and built a spreadsheet full of formulas doing the math for me to tell me just how close he was to the next time cut. It worked, but it was clunky and not ideal.

I decided I should build an app that could do all the work for me and would always have my son's best times loaded so I could just pick a standard and immediately see the time difference. I wanted a simple UI that was fast when I was at a meet. That's SwimTrack. I showed it to a few fellow swim parents and they wanted to try it out for their kids so I reworked it (a few times!) to work for anyone's swimmer, not just my son.

After months of testing and adding features to help keep parents informed and swimmers motivated on their path to their next time cut, SwimTrack launched on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Start for free and track one swimmer for free. Upgrade to SwimTrack+ when you're ready to take the next step and see all your progression charts, times and meet history as well as a SwimTrack+ exclusive: Pacer. Pacer lets you strategize how to tackle your next race, helping you plot out your race pace based on the results of thousands of fellow swimmers' pacing data. It's really cool and accurate to fractions of a second. I tested it against a recent world record time and Pacer predicted nearly the exact pace used to achieve the record. It's a lot of fun to play with.

I hope you check it out and would love to hear your thoughts!
